This Khukuri is a replica of a World War 1 Khukuri known as the MK1. Named after Kulbir Thapa who won the first Ghurka Victoria Cross in France in 1915.

The design of this Khukuri has been carefully based on a study of authentic official MK1's, issued to Ghurka units from 1903-1915, with special attention being paid to the design and size of the original.

Authentic touches such as the sunken nut, the dot-punched dome, and the angled spine have been incorporated into this Khukuri.

The Kulbir MK1 is a tribute to the bravery of the Ghurkas.
